EF AF: Executive Functioning Skills+ for College Success (August Virtual Intensive)

EF AF: Executive Functioning Skills+ for College Success is a week-long peer-based skills group for young adults navigating college life's academic, emotional, and social challenges. Whether just starting college or returning from break, you can expect to learn and practice evidence-based skills that improve stress management and promote overall well-being. Participants will gain support from peers and have the opportunity to develop wellness toolkits for a successful academic year and beyond. 

This group will cover many essential topics including:

  • Executive Functioning Skills: Tips for time management, organization, and minimizing procrastination

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Informed Skills: Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Mindfulness and Interpersonal Effectiveness

  • Self-Advocacy Skills: Connecting with Peers and Professors

  • Coping Ahead: Planning for stress, setbacks, and transitions with resilience through Mindfulness and Self-Compassion

This group is best for folks 17 - 23 years old applying to, starting, or re-entering college.

Once you register a therapist will contact you to get you ready for group!

Dates: Five (5) 120-minute sessions

Monday, 8/11/25 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Tuesday, 8/12/25 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Wednesday, 8/13/25 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Thursday, 8/14/25 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Friday, 8/15/25 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Location: Virtual

Price: This program requires a non-refundable payment of $850 which includes a brief group therapy intake.

Payments and Refunds: At registration, you will pay a non-refundable fee of $850 to hold your or your child's spot. Please note that payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to future groups. If you wish to withdraw and provide notice more than 72 hours before a group begins, you will be eligible for a partial refund (full refund minus the first session fee). If the therapist(s) of this group determine you or your child may benefit from other services and cannot continue in group after the first session, you will be eligible for a partial refund (full payment minus the first session). For group therapy sessions consisting of 10 or less sessions, please note that the group fee is not prorated for any absences (planned or unplanned), and no refunds will be issued for missed sessions, given the limited number of clients participating.

Next Steps: Once you pay the fee, the group facilitator will reach out to you to schedule a call and answer any additional questions.
