Hello! I’m Renay – it’s so lovely to meet you! Let me tell you a little about myself. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Michigan State University (go Spartans!) and later completed my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I spent over a decade as a psychologist and the Director of Assessment at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. I also served as the President of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS) Chicago, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with clinicians and researchers dedicated to advancing meaningful, evidence-based care.

I love neuropsychology—especially the process of discovering what makes each child unique. Getting to know their strengths, understanding how they think and learn, and supporting their development over time is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

On a personal note, I fell in love with Japan during a trip and started learning Japanese a few years ago (I’m still practicing, but I’m pretty confident at navigating a menu!). I also enjoy practicing Bikram yoga, and dim sum brunch is one of my weekend favorites—there’s nothing better than a table full of dumplings shared with your kids. What are your favorite parent-child moments?
