Hi there! I’m Nora — so glad you’re here.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker born and raised in Chicago, and I’ve always had a passion for helping young people feel seen, supported, and empowered. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (with a second major in Healthcare Administration and Policy) from Creighton University, followed by my Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, where I specialized in health-focused care.

My clinical training took root in places like Children’s Nebraska and the Child’s Place Association Residential Home in Humboldt Park. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and teens across outpatient, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) settings. I’ve served as a primary group therapist in one of the largest PHP/IOP programs in Chicagoland, where I also helped plan programming for the Afterschool IOP Program and focused on the treatment of complex anxiety and OCD.

My work focuses on helping kids build emotional insight, learn healthy coping strategies, and make meaningful, values-based choices. I’ve supported young clients facing complex anxiety, OCD, ADHD, mood disorders, and more — both in therapy sessions and in medical settings, including neurology and audiology clinics.

What drives me each day is watching the resilience and growth of the kids and families I work with. There’s something so powerful about seeing a child realize they can face hard things and feel a greater sense of self-worth and hope.

My primary therapeutic approaches include:

Now for a little fun stuff — I once ran a half marathon (and might even run another someday)! I’m all about spending time with loved ones, finding quiet moments in the city I love, and keeping cozy with good food and warm conversations.
